Our good friend, Kevin Krieser, has launched a site called BareFaced to help raise awareness of environmentally friendly shopping options. BareFaced's mission is:
To expand the socially and environmentally responsible marketplace by driving consumer demand thus resulting in a need for improved business practices throughout the world.
Whenever I spend time with Kevin, I'm increasingly motivated to find ways that I can be a "little nicer, a little more aware" of the world and environment around us. Whether that means taking only the two napkins from Starbucks that I actually need (instead of grabbing a stack) or riding my bike to work, it really doesn't take much to make a difference.
BareFaced recently posted an article on the "New Diesel Movement" that covers biodiesel car trends and explains the difference between BioDiesel and Straight Vegetable Oil (SVO). Give it a read!
